Y + our Club

Cullercoats Paddlesports Club ("CPC") has been created to promote, encourage and facilitate participation in sea-based paddlesports, particularly surf, sit-on-top and SUP.

Exciting new Paddlesport in the North East

Short term, some of our objectives include:
  • Further development of the Tynemouth Surf Kayak Open , now in it's third year.
  • The creation of a North East Surf Kayak League with smaller regional surf competitions;
  • Development courses for paddlers and coaches;
  • Beach hopping trips both regionally and further afield.

  • Our primary aim is to work within our local community, but our long term goal is to build relationships with other clubs, locally, nationally and abroad, for the benefit of all of our members.

    Fundamentally, we want to help people to access paddlesports. We also want to offer opportunities for people to progress and develop their skills, be that for their own personal satisfaction or to help us to help others.

    We want to engage with, and expand, the paddlesports community that already exists in our area, and we want to help connect it to the wider paddlesports world.

    This is our hobby and we love it. We would like you to love it, too.
